Sowing Seeds of Change Greenhouse and Outdoor Kitchen Build Out

What do local food systems, youth vocational training, and sustainable agricultural education have in common? You! Join Sowing Seeds of Change in building our greenhouse and kitchen!

We’re looking to offer a greater breadth of learning opportunities and food access to our program participants and the greater local community. The kitchen and greenhouse build will help us accelerate the growth and variety of produce we can grow and offer onsite cooking classes!

Here’s what to expect:

Our greenhouse and kitchen come in kits. To build our greenhouse and kitchen we will need support with: clearing space on the farm where each of the structures will be housed; building the wooden foundation for each of the structures to ensure they are on a level plane; assembling parts of the structures and/or equipment that will be housed in each. There will be shoveling mulch, lifting, screwing, and assembling equipment involved.
