Our family has been growing citrus in the Ojai Valley for over 125 years! We currently attend three farmers’ markets in Southern California year-round as well as selling directly from our packinghouse and running a seasonal mail order business. We also sell our tangerines to wholesalers throughout California including being one of the main wholesale contacts for the Ojai Pixie Growers Association. Our goal is to grow, pack and sell the best tasting fruit we can that consumers can get. This means we only harvest our fruit when it is at peak flavor. Our 4 orchards are all small, less than 20 acres and all contain multiple varieties of citrus best suited for the unique microclimates in the Ojai Valley. We grow our fruit conventionally, using both organic and conventional practices. We feel this gives us the flexibility to keep our trees and soil as healthy as possible. We treat our trees like family and hope that they live long and healthy lives and many of our trees are well over 50 years old with some over 100 years old.
