Handy Farms facilitates life for our family, and those who order our product from out little homestead organic farm – the healthiest, most abundant, and diverse life possible on our little farm is our mission!  Then share the harvest with all who desire, and value organic, nutrient-dense food grown regeneratively. Our commitment is soil health. Healthy Soils = Healthy Plants = Healthy Humans HOW do we do this: Never using any chemical ..’ides (pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc.) or synthetic chemical fertilizers Carefully selecting and cultivating a diverse cover crop to enhance diversity and symbiotic relationship between the soil microbes, plants, and animals. Practicing no-till farming methods to ensure the integrity of our fungal mycorrhizal networks in the soil. Grazing animals under the trees using planned/rotational grazing methods to maximize the health of the animal and soil. Applying biologically active vegetative compost to enhance biology and available nutrition. Inoculating soil with a diverse array of beneficial microbes through brewing our own compost tea to help restore the rich abundance of soil life that needs to exist to have healthy soils, healthy plants, healthy animals, and healthy people. Farming the land with all the love our little family can give! We love this way of farming and living.
